Last night, on the site formerly known as Twitter, famed Pokémon star Joseph Exeggutor launched into a tirade against homosexuality. Those who are part of the Pokémon community are up in arms, but I repeat myself.
His long-time coworker Tauros Sato had the following to say. "I worked with Exeggutor for a long time. While I am happily married to my wife, Miltank Sato, I had relationships with both men and women before I met her. He... never spoke out about this before, but in hindsight it always made sense. I always tried to be welcoming towards him, but he kept pushing me away."
Other members of the Pokémon team have had harsher things to say. David Azumarill - who had joined the project early in its life, but worked hard to gain prominence - claims "Joseph [Exeggutor]... was always a cruel one. When I first came out as a trans man, he called me [slur against lesbians redacted] for a week afterwards. I don't even like women."
Joseph's brother, Akoni Exeggutor, has refused to comment, merely hanging his long neck low and bawling for an hour. His roommate, Adelheid Persian, evicted us from their house afterwards.
